Eco Range Recovery is endeavouring to disrupt the shooting industry by turning a "waste problem" into a sustainable income stream for clubs across Australia.
Every shell left on the ground is a ticking time bomb for our environment. Over time, these casings break down into harmful microplastics, leaching into the soil and waterways of the Australian bush.
We’ve designed an ambitious scheme that stops this cycle in its tracks. A scheme that provides professional recovery and recycling of spent shells and transforms them into high-value brass and plastic pellets.
Best of all? We share the value with you.
Our partnership model provides clubs with a consistent financial kickback, turning environmental responsibility into a reliable revenue source for club maintenance and growth.
We don't just take your waste;
we pay you for the privilege.
Clubs receive a percentage of the recycled material value, creating an ongoing
"green" fund for your members.
Our mission is the total elimination
of range-derived microplastics.
By removing shells before they degrade, we protect the bush from permanent plastic contamination.
We close the loop.
The brass and plastic we recover are processed into industrial-grade pellets and raw materials, ensuring that what starts at the range stays in the economy, not in the environment.
GABRIELLE QUIRK - Founder, Eco Range Recovery
I'm an entrepreneur on a mission to prove that environmental stewardship and industrial growth are not mutually exclusive. I founded Eco Range Recovery after identifying a critical gap in the shooting industry: the lack of a scalable, professional system to handle the massive volume of plastic and brass waste generated on ranges.
My vision for Eco Range Recovery was born from a deep respect for the Australian bush and a desire to eliminate the threat of microplastics at the source. Seeing the challenges faced by local clubs —from rising waste disposal costs to tightening environmental regulations — I set out to build a scheme that benefits everyone.
I’ve dedicated my startup journey to developing a "kickback" model that gives back to the clubs, ensuring that every shell recovered helps fund the facilities and programs that keep the sport alive.
